Airline tix from San Diego to Miami is probably pretty cheap and...you only need to fly one-way.

The post on CL has expired. Either (the person) sold the car or changed his mind. I'm figuring the latter considering how soft the C4 ZR1 market has been. If the car has been sold, I hope the new owner is more into ZR1s and keeps it the way those cars deserved to be cherished.

I think he gave up. He was down to $20k. Also had a 95 LT1 for sale.

Poor Barney.

He let all posts expire a couple weeks ago. I haven’t checked to see if any are back up. If still for sale in Spring 2019 I will make a serious attempt to buy it. I never drive the Callaway any more and it needs to go to a new owner.

I've been emailing back in forth with "Steve B" who current owns Barney, my former '95 VIN 0140.

The car is going to auction at Barrett-Jackson Northeast, 26-29 June 2019, at the Mohegan Sun Casino and Resort near Uncasville, Connecticut.

Hopefully someone other than an off-shore buyer, a collector/waxer or a speculator will buy it. Barney needs a home with someone who will drive it and appreciate what the C4 ZR-1 was, the greatest American performance car of the late-90s and early-00s.

Hi everyone....Steve from Florida here. As you already know I am forced to sell Barney. I consigned the car to the Barrett Jackson Northeast auction and was assigned prime time Friday night, June 28th. Should go off sometime between 8pm - 9:30pm. Lot #445. They are thrilled to get the car because of its great history (thank you, Hib). I've enjoyed the car and it's been the best one of 91 cars that I've owned, including five others.
I'm hoping that I can help drive the prices up a little from the tanked prices they've been at.
