Default 1994 water pump replace advice

Changing my Water pump this weekend, I have a genuine GM pump and gasket, just wondering if there are any tips or advice from someone who has done this,,,

Pay attention to the bolt locations. There are a lot of different bolts on these things, so I used a cardboard template to keep track of each one’s position.

On the coolant refill, it might be worth poking around the forum to find your favorite method of avoiding air pockets.

Other than that, I found it pretty straightforward. Enjoy!
