Yeah I read that earlier - that they were bringing in some kind of big vacuum deal to get the dirt out. At least they won't have to haul it very far....

That's probably EXACTLY what they're trying to figure - move the dirt FROM the hole, to put it back in the hole later, OR, move it WITHIN the hole, to the deeper corner cavities.

But without knowing where 2 of the cars are exactly, the latter - more practical option isn't an option yet.

GPR radar?

They should have checked for the cars when they checked the integrity of the rest of the museum grounds on day 2...

You can see how big the holes are in the bottom of the pit. If any cars went down one of them, like this one dang near did anyway, you can bet the chances are good we'll see some Chinese 'knock-off' C4s driving around soon.
