The Anchor Club, parent organization for the Apache Junction High School Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, is hosting their 20th Annual Navy JROTC Benefit Car & Motorcycle Show on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Anyone wishing to display their vehicle can register between 8:00am-10:00am for $25 the day of the show. The first 100 participants to preregister will receive a goody bag and the event is FREE for spectators. This local event, held in the south parking lot of the Apache Junction High School, 2525 S. Ironwood Drive in Apache Junction, attracts quality participants from car clubs as well as individual car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Last year more than 100 participants and several thousand spectators were drawn to the show. All proceeds benefit the NJROTC program for their educational field trips and to enter local, state, and national competitions throughout the school year. Some activities include a live auction, 50/50 raffle, music, breakfast/lunch for purchase and awards for different classes of vehicles. This event attracts everything from vintage Ferraris to bouncing lowriders to hot rods and everything in between! The LineUp hands down has some of the most creative and original awards around. The "I Hope You Make It Home Award" and the award that everyone wants…the "Golden Nail". That goes to the car us LOWLIFES think has it all. Our raffle prizes are equally as good. Oh and don’t forget about the row of food trucks that show up!
WHERE: It’s constantly growing. With over 1000+ people walking thru the gates last year, we have outgrown all of our old venues so we had to find a new, BIGGER location and we found that at new location in Mesa!
WHEN: Feb 10th 2018. Since we tend to keep late hours, we don’t throw crack of dawn shows. The LineUp goes from NOON - 5PM.
WHY: More like why not? There’s nothing like throwing a party with cool cars, good music, food/drink and awesome friends. Plus we love the pups! We’ve given thousands of $$$$ to the AZ Animal Welfare League over the years and will give even more after this LineUp!
