Default New owner and first plenum pull

Hello everyone,

I bought a high mileage 1990 Dark Red Metallic/Saddle interior (104k mileage) about two weeks locally here in Georgia. This is my first ZR-1 and C4 in general. I had looked at buying one the last few years but finally went ahead and did it. Found the car on the other forum. Right after purchase I was pm'ed by Steve (We Gone on the forum) with a welcome and offer to help.

Fast forward to today and I drive out to see Steve. Spent the day pulling the plenum, replacing plug wires, and generally going over the car. Although I'm familiar with cars the LT5 was a little intimidating. Many thanks to Steve who took his entire day to help a new owner with the uniqueness of the car. He is a true Z enthusiast and now a great friend.

Scott

Congrats on the car. I'd agree Steve is okay.

Now maybe y'all can ride to Florida & work on my car.

Ted

Or we could just bench race, eat, & drink.

Congrats on the first plenum pull!

I did the same last year, and agree it can be super intimidating! Glad you got through it ok and had help. I was on my own when I did it, but as I recall I did a jump for joy when the car started back up! ha ha.

Congrats again, Enjoy the refreshed Z!
