Default Throttle Blades

I have a '95 with 4500 miles and the throttle blades are sticking resulting a high idle (1100 RPM). By tapping the accelerator pedal, the blades release and the idle returns to normal (700 RPM).

What is the best method to clean and lube the throttle shafts?

Thanks.

Default Re: Throttle Blades

I do this about every other year.
Using regular axle grease I put some on my index finger and
run it along the edges of each throttle plate.
Works every time.

Now keep in mind my original TB was replaced at 90k miles due
to slop in the bushings. The new TB worked for a few years before
starting to stick.
Good luck
