Agree, the turbo V6 was great from a standing start but ran out of breath once they got past 100mph in stock form. That said, they responded very favorably to mods.
around 1987, dragged a friends dads 930 turbo in a 87 t type. somewhere up around there it overtook like the buick was standing still.
