Default ZR-1 spyder Restore to original?

Question:

Should GM restore the ZR-1 spyder to the original design / color?

I like the black / red of the one destroyed myself, but the original look is stunning too!

I'd vote for the black/red version, myself.

In Silver it looks like a concept car. In black it looks more like a production car. Will this car be restored? any word on this?

I asked someone close to the museum if there was currently any thoughts of not fixing it; so far its sounds like they are all in to fix it.

I think the black and red looks better

I think I would only restore the cars that weren't completely demolished. Those smashed cars history with the sinkhole is pretty much the most exciting thing that ever happened to them seeing as how a couple of them never even got driven since the post-assembly test loop at the factory across the street.

Good point.

WERE they ever driven? Parades? Were they ever started up regularly?

Whether it is Silver/Yellow or Black/Red it is a piece of ZR-1 History. IMO it needs to be restored.

And part of it's history is it got squashed in a sink hole. Not sure how I feel about restoring these. Especially the really bad ones. It would almost be building a replica.
