Day 1 Tuesday morning at the house. We got underway at about 0730:

We drove to Harrisburg, PA and got on I-83 North. Central Pennsylvania and New York are beautiful. We had great weather and enjoyed seeing all the farms:

We stopped in Syracuse, NY to see one of the finest Art Deco buildings there is. The Niagara Mohawk National Grid Building:

We crossed the international border into Canada and followed the St Lawrence River east through the 1000 Islands region. The scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed the homes built on islands:

In Brockville, Ontario, we visited the Canadian Pacific train tunnel under the city. It is the first railroad tunnel built in Canada and has been turned into a very nice park:

After sight seeing, we stopped in a local Pub for a refreshing beverage:

You found the right bar, noticed the Coors Light sign in the background. Safe travels.

Day 2 We left Brockville by 7:00 am and drove east a little towards Ottawa to pick up Trans Canada 17. It was a clear cool morning, great for driving:

Heading west from Ottawa, we drove through a lot of prosperous looking farms:

We stopped for gas in Spencerville, ON and found this pair of beautiful Chevrolet trucks:

In Renfrew, ON we there is and old Post Office building with this interesting clock tower:

As we continued west toward Sudbury, the landscape became hillier with more lakes. The hills and curves and sparse traffic made the driving fun:

In the town of Mattawa we found this Quonset Hut that has been converted into the town movie theater. It makes me wonder how big the screen is:

You can get a large screen LED monitor bigger than the screen that would fit in there.

Jim & Lyndi,

I was in Glacier a week ago and the Going to the Sun road was still closed to through traffic. If your plans include traveling that, you may want to check its status.
