No rain forecasted this afternoon so I took the Z out for its last serious flog of the year before going up on the lift until old man winter clears out. Car ran great in the cold air. No issues what so ever with the alternative cam position sensor during the one hour spirited drive.

Received the Metri-pack connector components today and here it is fully assembled above the original OEM sensor.

These are the O-ring and backing spacer for adapting the alternative sensor to the cylinder head mounting location. Please note the shallow groove cut in the sensor body for retaining the sealing O-ring.

I will be sending this one to Young1 in Florida who will be putting some miles on it this winter to validate functionality, reliability, and durability characteristics.

Many thanks to WVZR-1 for his invaluable assistance with identifying the correct Metri-pack connector components.

Phil,
Yet again, phenomenal. Thanks for what you do. (Can't wait to see the 427 results by the way.)

Don't know your final intent with the cam sensors but if you make a run for others to recoup your time...put me in line. I'll put one one the shelf. It would be nice to have one.

Ted

I agree with Ted, I would buy a built one for a spare
