Default Forum Search Tip - Google Search with SITE

I found a very helpful searching tip and wanted to share.

If you do a normal search for "fuel pressure gauge" (with double quotes hoping to find hits with that string of three words found together), the search gets changed to "fuel, pressure, gauge" and you get hits with those words individually (not as a string).

The solution is to do a Google search and specify the site:

"fuel pressure gauge" site:http://zr1.net/forum

https://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en#h...r1.net%2Fforum

That returns a bunch of hits with posts from people talking about fuel pressure gauges.

Vacuum Pump site: http://zr1.net/forum

Now that works (using Google Search).....Excellent Tip

And excellent explanation of what happens in a Forum "normal" Search when the search is actually for any one of the individual terms used.
