Default Goodyear F1 vs Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4

I'm in the process of swapping the wheels on my '92. I'm deciding if I should move over the 8 year old Goodyear F1 tires that have 2-3k miles on them from the old wheels to the new wheels, or start fresh with new Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires. I have to get the TPMS sensors off the old wheels and install on the new wheels either way. Thoughts?

Toss the old tires regardless of tread depth

Does anyone have any experience with the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4? The tire options are limited if sticking with stock sizes, this being one of those options. I?m also a Michelin fan, so this one is at the top of my list. But I?d still like opinions from anyone that has them.

I have them on my C6 Z06. I wanted pilot sport but I was stuck on a trip and the all season 4 were the only ones available next day.
I was pleasantly surprised as it is the only tire that has ever hooked up on the 1-2 shift on that car.
They will not sustain track use or highly spirited driving for extended periods but for a street use only choice they have become my new favorite. I plan to get them for the ZR-1 when my Nitto NT05 tires are done. Best grip on a wide variety of road conditions.

I put Michelin Pilot Sports on my '95 back in 2013. Got them at Costco. They had the right front size but Michelin only had 335 width rears in 17" so I went with them. They fit fine and were a great improvement over the Sumis I had then. On my 2016 Z06, I installed Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3+ZPs (runflats; the predecessor to the A/S4s) to replace the OEM summer only Pilot Sports when they wore out at 20,000 miles in 2020. The all seasons have been great. They eliminate fears of being caught in the rain or snow and effectively extend my driving season a month. I don't track the Z06 but have run them on a couple track touring sessions and they handled fine. I strongly recommend the Michelin all seasons and Costco as well for their cost, service and warranty. However if you are running bigger than the 17" wheels you might want to find an installer with the Hunter Revolution tire changing machines to insure your rims are protected. I did that for the Z06 with 19" and 20" chrome wheels. But the Costco near me did fine work on several of my cars--they just don't have the Hunter machine.--Bob

I have the PS AS4 on my ZR-1. I like them. I wish they looked a little more aggressive, but they were a great investment and don't flat spot. The car sits a LOT (I can't see well out the windshield) too... these tires have been great for me so far. Would do it again. Here's a picture.

Just put a set on my 90, nice wide tire. Does have a bit of road noise.
