I just got back from the Maryland Home and Garden Show in Timonium. I had the great fortune to meet a new WAZOO member. Bob lives north of Baltimore and owns a Ruby Red 1993 ZR-1, plus other Corvettes and other collectible cars and trucks.

Bob said he will be attending the WMD on the 15th of March.

I hope everyone will come out and welcome him.

Jim

SCHEDULE ADDITION FOR WMD:

Following the WMD work session, please join us at the Green Turtle in Westminster for a WAZOO Hail and Farewell. We will welcome Bob to the group and bid a sad farewell to Bert who is moving to Colorado this spring.

I am not sure of the exact time until we see how the work goes, but whatever time it is, we will have a good time.

Jim

Wish I could make it for the farewell, but I've been stuck down here enjoying Summer in South America until April.

I may bring my A/C gauages and my last can of R12 and if we have time, see if I can jump my compressor switch and add some feon, see if I can get my A/C working again.

The WMD was a great success. We replaced the starter in Ed's ZR-1, replaced the fuel filter on two cars, installed a set of C-beam plates, replaced a rear hatch gasket and completed some other minor repairs and improvements. It was nice to meet Bob for the first time.

We adjourned to a local watering hole after the maintenance to say a proper good bye to Bert who is moving to Colorado. I think we talked him into shipping the family car and driving the ZR-1 across country.

Below are: (l to r) Yun, Darrin, Bert, Ed, Rich, David, Charlie, Bob, Jim. In the foreground is Charlie's beautiful Red 1992 ZR-1:
