I wonder what the story is with the Powerstop pads. I am going to the (Z26 pads) because they DON'T dust. I put them on my Haibeck 510 car. After doing the break in burnishing, I didn't have any dust. At least none to speak of...and waay better than stock. So, it suprises me to hear this. What Powerstop pad are you using?

I concur. The Power Stop Z26 pads have been fine for me on my 2016 Z06 for about 15,000 miles so far. They stop as well as or better than the OEM pads and do not dust much if at all. On my C4 ZR-1s, I mostly used the Hawk pads and they were also fine. --Bob

Same here I had low dusting with the powerstops.
For what it's worth, it has been my experience that a stuck caliper will generate more dust than usual.

in my case, i ran the powerstop ?track day kit? for the j55?s. the pads turned my rotors into dust!

which i think is what they were supposed to do for the type of pd they were. I had great braking for a factory 91.
