Default New Owner - 1990 #1165

Assuming the last 4 of the VIN is the production number for these lol. I've wanted one of these for about 10 years and I finally pulled the trigger on a good looking red/red. I'm having the dealer ship the car to me, I should have it in hand hopefully by wednesday next week.

I'll be taking a look around the registry and the forum, there's a lot of knowledge here to take in. Thanks y'all!

Thank you! I have a base '88 that I loved when it worked, so I was really hoping to replace that with something that actually worked and was fast to begin with. I think the Z will be a great purchase

Welcome! Mine is its twin, about 200 earlier in the production line then yours. Took me a while, but I've really started to like the look of A Molds on the 1990.

Any more information on it? Mileage? Condition? Mods?

I took a solid risk buying a car I've never seen, so all I have to go by are the pictures and video the dealer had posted. As far as I can tell, it's in excellent shape. Just over 54k miles, so not parked in a garage its entire life.

Minor mods, I'm told it has "a ported intake plenum, ported injector housing, and a nice set of headers." They have documentation of all the mods as well as a dyno sheet showing 375rwhp.

It should be delivered to me some time next week, probably Wednesday.

Here is a link to the listing, it should pull up all the pictures still

Normally I'd be skeptical about buying a car someone else has modded, but these are things I'd have wanted to do anyways and they have receipts, so what could go wrong

Congratulations.
Mine is slightly younger, #792.
Those wheels might indicate upgraded front and rear disc brakes.
A-Molds have enough room behind them for C5 Z06 brakes, its a common upgrade.

Any clue who did the engine upgrade?
