Default C8 1st sighting

I saw my 1st c8 on a public road this afternoon, in Fort Wayne
In. I only saw it for a split second, it came from behind me and turned off right away, only saw the rear quarter.
It was kind of loud even thought he wasn't on it at all. I heard it before I saw it and at 1st I thought it was a motorcycle [1970s Kawasaki 1000 with a header and exhaust]. To be fair it also sounded high pitch kinda like a Ferrari. The color I think was Matrix Grey Metallic, but not sure, at 1st glance it looked almost grayish baby blue.
Surprisingly I liked the look and sound a lot more than I thought I would. I think a lot of people are going to want one when they see and hear it in person, especially when they come out with something other than base C8.

I went to a dealership in jersey over the weekend....They had about a dozen....It was the first time I saw it in person....Awesome awesome looking car....

I still can't get over the fact my car stickered for 65K back in 91.....You could have ordered a C8 months ago for 60K-65K...

Of course you could load it up with all the BS options but if it was me I would get the Z-51 for 5K and that's it....65K plus tax..

To me its probably the best deal for a new vette ever...

Went for a drive a few days ago and the delivery truck had just arrived at our local Chevy dealer in Maryland. The truck had 4 new C8's and dropped off only one at the dealership. When I drove in they asked me if I was ready to replace my 92 ZR-1 with a new C8. Told them sure, even trade

Typical first year defects.

Missing the shifter and the clutch.

Sheez, whatever happened to quality control.

Sure hope the cases of beer fit in the front trunk.

All that fit in the back trunk are the magnum champagne bottles, which I guess is kind of fitting.

BEAUTIFUL Car!!!!

Just hope I can tell the difference at a quick glance from all of the other supercars. Guessing that is what they were going for or stuck with.

Still, a great looking car!

I went for a ride in a friend of mine's Saturday. He has the 3LT Z51 with Magnetic-Ride. He only had a little over 100 miles on it. He changed the different driving modes while on the ride and they all rode nice. It's really Quiet inside. He got down on it a little at low speed and it pulled hard and shifted seamlessly. I can't wait to get mine if all this virus craziness ever ends.

Let's see, red and tan, mid engine, a little luggage space in back, a little luggage space in front, targa top comes off. Exact duplicate copy of my 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi. With a bit more horsepower, of course. I will stick with my C7 for now with much more usable luggage space and roughly the same performance. --Bob
