Bought one new in '91, the mark-ups evaporated by then, cost was still high. One of the best cars I've ever owned. Very fast in the day, still can hold its own. GM sponsored a special event in Stillwater when the LT5 production halted. The two-day event was known as ?The Thunder at Stillwater?. The event began with seventy ZR-1 Corvettes escorting the homecoming court and cheerleaders to the Oklahoma State University football stadium where the Corvettes were arranged into a giant ?LT5? on the field. GM presented all who attended the Engine Build Sheet for their cars engine at the events closing dinner. Also attended the Corvette Museum opening in '94. Bought a Brick engraved with the license plate I had on my car - MITY ZR1. Those were good times!
So, these owners got their Engine Build Sheets ??
