Are you mechanically inclined? Can you work on cars? With the help and guidance of those on this site, you can service your ZR-1. Also, I recommend the (2) volume Service Manual for your year car. That being said, if you have the means and need, the real pros tend to be out of state: Marc Haibeck (Chicago) Pete Polatsidis (Also Chicago) Aaron Scott (South Georgia) and some others. DO NOT TRUST THE DEALER for anything beyond simple C4 stuff. I know: I live in Northridge,CA and have had my Z since 2000. In my younger years I did everything myself. This registry is fantastic. When I had a more major problem I punted and shipped my car east. No regrets. I got my car, and the wife got an addition to the house. No questions asked.
