Default Who started their ZRs today?

Finally hit 50 today here in Chicagoland. And SUNNY. Couldn't resist, so I grabbed the keys and started the car. Quick start-up "flare" and settled into its warm-up routine with a gradual slowdown in rpm until it finally went Closed Loop at about an 850rpm idle.
WB O2 indicating 14.7:1. Let it warm up until fan kicked on at 88C, then coolant temps started to drop. Shutoff.

Not even backing it out of the garage until all of the salt is washed off the roads.

Started it yesterday, but did not move it out of the garage. Got 10 quarts of oil and an oil filter to change next week if it's warm enough. Today is cold and rainy, not as encouraging as it was yesterday.

And so it goes....Jim

I've taken both the ZR-1 and the ZO6 out several times over the past few days. We've had an unusual amount of rain this winter as well as being colder than normal but nothing like what some of you folks north of the Mason-Dixon have been experiencing. OTOH, we had the worst ice storm in over a century during Valentine's week in 2014 ... my community was paralyzed and isolated for over a week ... no heat, no fuel, no restaurants, no grocery stores, and the banks couldn't open (no ATM's either). We were trapped on my street on 2 different occasions when the 100 ft tall pine trees snapped off and blocked the roads. Yes, we survived but it's not something I would want anyone to have to experience. Enough of past history ....

The ZO6 was anxious for the exercise and the excuse to show me how fast she could make it to triples. So was the ZR-1 but the black beast seems to have developed a vacuum leak under the plenum ... started trying to isolate it today, hoping it might be outside the plenum, but no such luck. I'll have a stab at it tomorrow. Might be time to consider deleting the secondaries ... Paul, where are you? I need advice.

Good idea to do it yourself!

I need to see all the salt gone, which should happen in the next day or 2 with all the rain in the forecast =D>
