Good to hear. Low 12s is what we'll need! If I could ever get my reaction time down to under .5 (my best...some much worse!), maybe I could get there too. My best ever was 12.4/122.x w/ a .7s reaction!

Everyone: Gates open at 9AM. Be sure you register at the trophy tent; sign up as a member of the ZR-1 REGISTRY CLUB as the club name.

We don't want anyone signing up under another name and have the time slip recorded elsewhere (It happened before!).

But, the track was slick, another (C6) wrecked even before the thing got going. The event was called.

(Personally, I think they saw us show up, realized the ZR-1s came to play, and they just conceded! LOL)

Good seeing everyone. They had a C6 run 10.4x and it was hauling ***!

Looking forward to next year.

A C7 Z06 nearly made it 2 wrecks today. He was able to save it from the wall just at about the same spot a C6 wrecked an hour before.

Not scared heck if Kevin's car was there today with those cold temps would've done 10.20's

We get to keep the trophy till next year.

Yep! I forgot to mention that. It was scary. Same spot on the right lane, like Dom said. I saw his tail wiggle and then it got wild. First he nearly kissed the wall on his right side, but saved it from hitting. But, then it shot across the lane divider to the left by half a car length before getting it back under control.

He might not have spanked both walls like the other one did, but I'd imagine he's going to need new underwear!!! (I'll post some pix later)

Anyway... It was too bad the track was in such shape. Temps were in the low 50s (like 51) and there was a tail wind to boot! I'll bet Pete would have busted into the 10s with his MEAN GREEN MACHINE, and Kevin's black MAXIMUS, Al and Bob G too!!? ...uh-yup! But, ya know they'll be gunnin for us. One of the Cross Roads club members came up to me as we were leaving and said to just wait till next year! I told him this would make 4 of the last 8 years - this thing has a permanent home!! LOL!

We'd better be ready!!
