Default Window won't go up all the way...

Just looking for suggestions on my issue.

So I changed the outside window seal on the passenger side this weekend. I had done the driver side a few years ago with no issues, and knew what to expect. I fought for a few hours to get the seal on, re-connected everything and got it all back together. I went to roll the window up and it stopped about 3-4 inches from going all the way up. I'm thinking I tightened the window felt things too tight? I'm going to have to tear it all apart again and was looking for any ideas of what I did or didn't do.....

You will probably figure it out pretty quick with the door panel off, but the wiring harness clip could be broken or off and it can bind the window from rolling up. This is more common in 89 and earlier with the speakers in the doors. There is also a plastic protector / guide for the outside mirror wiring that gets moved and the mirror wiring can catch the window...this is my bet.

When I did my outer seal a few years ago I had to fiddle with the adjustments a few times to get it right. I think your felts are too tight.

Correct you have to bend them away from the window until there barely touch.
