Default Unicorn of ZR-1 collectors items....and its awesome

So I have been looking everywhere for this 1:43 Resin Model. Its a copy of Doug Rippies Lemans ZR-1 from 1995. Released in 1996 by Provence Moulage. I have searched everywhere for one of these with no luck. However, I did see that another company has this in their catalog....but not currently in production.

I wonder if we did a group buy(if there is interest) if they might produce them. These are typically unfinished....but I think you can pay them to be built.

Anyway Spark models has the molds but they pointed me to a retailer to request the model.

Lee,

You're killing me here. Where the heck do you find the time? Count me in for your group buy. My next house needs to have an extra bedroom for ZR-1 memorabilia. I'm waiting for the announcement of "Lee's ZR-1 Museum".

Wow, such detail. I love that rear hatch.

!:43 scale? how big does is that?

What's next, the Pirate Car? That would be cool.

Very cool, I'd love to have one of those if it's not too pricey. Looks very nicely detailed!

1:43 scale is pretty small, judging from the below link, sounds like it would be around 3.5 to 4.5 inches long.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1:43_scale

Would be nice though if it was the larger 1:18 scale, like the Maisto 1992 ZR-1 model I have which is about 10 inches long by 4 inches wide.

I'd be interested. I have a tendency to collect 1/18 scale models of special to me cars. Kinda my little dream car garage

I agree, I like them bigger. But the detail on that one is phenomenal.

I've got that Maisto 1/18 scale in white/black ZR-1. Which matches my car.

Now, if I can make a little copy of the white Hurst shift knob I just put on, it would be perfect.
