Default Fender badge

I have been using the splash ZR-1 sticker for the past few years

I don't want the OEM ZR-1 badges there

but what about these:

It looks good.

Why don't you like the factor ZR-1 badge?

Looking at the picture it is a 1990 so no badge on fender that year. I do however like the LT5 badge, wish there were more to go around.

If "The General" intended there to be anything "on the hood" it would have been pierced for the install. I'd say that anything added to the '90 in that vicinity takes on what might be considered "ricer".

The '90 only has the distinction of the "TPI molding. That needs to be enough.

I saw some snapshots a few weeks ago and I believe I saw a couple of cars with LT5 badges on both ends of the car, even that looked like a "bit much". A single ZR-1 on the rear UNLESS "The General" pierced the hood. The '91 & '92 looks much better than the '90 with the ZR-1 hood-badge.

Under the hood? I believe the way "The General" intended looks much better than some.

Of course that JMO -

The LT5 badging I believe I could "maybe" get accustomed to. Would I if I had them? NO

Makes you wonder why the 90-91 cars had no fender badge? I have had some ZR-1 badges for my 91 for many years just never added them. I think they look great on the later cars and add a visual clue to other drivers that its not your average C4.

I didn't know that 91s were sans fender badges! Ami's Turq Monster has 'em, so I guess I assumed they were factory. Hmmmm.... Apparently NOT, according to "some"?

Well, I didn't know they weren't suppose to be there, and I didn't ever think they looked "wrong". So.... I might put some on the 90, if I can find some...maybe.

I always get the badges on the hood confused with also the HP change and relate the two changes together. The hood badges were '92+ which makes the '91 unique as it's the only with the colored body side moldings NOT to have them.

I like the addition of the badges to the '91+ cars as well as the '91 & '92 cars actually look quite good with body colored wheels. Painted body color saw-blades might be something that I would do. I wouldn't consider coloring the machined wheels, JUST the '91 - '92 saw-blades. The a-molds look quite well colored also with the exception of "white". I've seen I believe 3 that were colored white and "none" matched.

I've got GS a-molds on a '90 and they I believe look like they "belong".

I like the LT5 badge better than the splash. It looks more factory.

What does the "General" know?? really?? It went out of business and had to be bailed out. It did not and could not build the LT5 engine that sits in the ZR1. They have been putting out garbage for years and still cant catch up to the Japanese car as far as reliability and gas mileage. The General knows nothing. I think the 1990 should have more badges like mine. There is not anything ricer with my car. It kicks ***. If the owner of any ZR1 wants more badging so people can figure out what he is driving then he should put whatever he wants on,, zr1 badge, lt5 badge... My ZR1 is certainly not even close to the fastest car I have owned but the most enjoyable to drive for sure. I am a big fan of the Corvette (owned 8) and other American muscle machines. I dont like foreign cars except for daily driving and trashing.

The designers missed big time not placing more badging on the 1990 and not giving the ZR1 a more distinctive look. I am sure the guys who put out over 60k for these cars did not appreciate the fact that it looked just like another Corvette on the road except for the 3 inches of width it received. Just my 2 cents.
