You have a nice ZR-1. It is fairly rare. In 1993 only 9 Bright Aqua ZR-1's were made, 2-Aqua/Black, 5-Aqua/Gray and 2-Aqua/White.

For all years, only the Dark Purple is rarer than Bright Aqua.

Enjoy it.

Welcome. Great color for 93 as about half the 93s were Ruby's.

Thanks Jim. It's well cared for and appreciated. Where did you get that bit of info? I would love to keep a record. I haven't seen it broken down by interior color.

The information is available on the ZR-1 Net Registry Website. We have a database of all the ZR-1 production numbers.

I highly recommend that you join the ZR-1 Net Registry, the non-profit organization that owns and operates the ZR-1 Net Registry Forums. There is a wealth of information about the ZR-1 there.

Thank you Jim, I registered and paid a couple days ago. Looking forward to the membership.

I'll have to look deeper into the registry site.

Welcome to the insanity! Great combination. As long as it doesn’t burn up in all the fires down there, enjoy the year round drivability. Would like to hear more details on the car, condition and plans.
Happy Holidays

Thanks! It's been smokey but safe here stored inside..

I'm still learning about the car. It's has a few issues like needing new speaker amps, and seat electronics and minor upholstery. Also some small exterior cosmetic issues like a bad door respray that took out the original door sticker! It's all getting rejuvenated to OEM with TLC and being enjoyed! 75K miles young.

The corvette museum told me it's 1 of 4 made, so I probably won't dig too deep in making changes besides enjoying the A-Molds or minor things that are reversible. It's a fantastic ride, although the key default to "low power" is annoying. I will have many ZR-1 questions to come

Good to hear you're safe considering all the fires in CA. Such a tough year for fires all over CA. (I have family and friends all over the LA area and up in Napa, too.)

Good to hear you're enjoying the ZR. Mine's stock, except for a Haibeck chip. It's an easy mod, improves the life of the engine, adds about 10 hp, and defaults the power mode to "ON" (full power) so you don't even have to worry about it. That said, I don't know if it would effect the CA smog test with the chip in... but maybe others can chime in. It would be easy to go back to stock for a test, if necessary.
