If only we lived in a society where other methods of communication existed, like... telephones, WhatsApp, etc. :D
Watched the new episode yesterday, great job cleaning up the wheel wells. |
Re: WANTED: Cam position sensor for LT5
Ha! Thanks!! Annoyingly Phil doesn't seem to have got my emails but he's sent me a private message on here which I for some reason can't respond to (it looks like it's an account restriction!)
Modern tech eh!! :) |

Re: WANTED: Cam position sensor for LT5
Just joined this forum to follow your efforts in the UK. Good luck finding the part and hope it solves the issue. Please post more updates here and your online videos.
FYI - I inherited a first gen Camaro that's in the UK but that'll probably be another story and forum. |
Re: WANTED: Cam position sensor for LT5
Thanks Dave! I certainly will do! :) Is your 1st gen Camaro still in the UK or did you get it back home?

Re: WANTED: Cam position sensor for LT5
The Camaro is in the UK. It was my brother's and he passed away recently. Car has sat since 94 though I help him work on it in the late 80s when it was in the states. Maybe I should try to contact Jonny 😆.
Wasn't sure if to post here or in the general section regarding your LT5 engine. Sorry if you've already checked but while waiting for a Cam sensor could you use a scope to look at the sensor signal, coil trigger and injector trigger. I had an intermittent idle issue with my V8 Vantage and found one of the injectors was receiving a trigger but with my finger on the injector sometimes I couldn't feel the solenoid click. My C3 is so much easier to work on. |

Have we managed to get Auto Funk sorted yet? :)
