Re: Did the OBX headers fit or what???
Dave,
I understand the delay with all you have going on. Another member has a set, too, so between you and him we'll get the scoop on the OBX header issue. Get ready cause next week the real cold weather will be paying us a visit. Hang tough  |

That's why I live in the southern tip of Texas all we ever have is sun and warmth in varying degrees. Its also the reason why I have so many projects ;). You never have too shovel sunshine. Dave |

When I was in Tech school in Chanute I can remember marching with a leather face mask to keep my face from freezing. Now that was a bit cool by Illinois standards. |

Re: Did the OBX headers fit or what???
Does not stay that cold for very long but with the added wind chill factor it sure gets your attention. Sure makes me appreciate the kerosene heaters in my shop. Keeps it a toasty 60 on the very cold days. Working all day while seeing your breathe is a real experiance. I know this deserves a :-({|=

Dave,
Thanks for the update and looking good. What is the "pipe" welded onto the pipe in pic #8? Nice work! |
Re: Did the OBX headers fit or what???
Its a air tube port I think. I ended up machining a stainless plug in the lathe and pressfiting it in and then capturing it with a pin. Only one of the headers has one, the passenger side.
