I part numbered the retainer in my first post.

10089613 GM is the retainer # 19 in my other image and it's the same retainer that is in the connector/nipple you bought I believe from Jerry. To do it this weekend you'll need the retainer locally and you shouldn't have any trouble accomplishing that.

Like I mentioned - I don't believe I'd tamper with the female connection on the other hose. 15 - 18 aren't available (never have been). Do the retainer and move on.

Is there a divider in this cross-over???

One is thermostat controlled (P side), and the D side isn't...?

NO ;)

There is no divide....the flow just goes where there is least resistance.....Recycle (injector housing coolant manifolds back to water pump directly) through end of spring loaded thermostat until main thermostat opens by temperature rise.

The coolant then flows through radiator (path of least resistance) unless your revs are high....then part recycle through spring loaded end of thermostat to keep radiator pressure at acceptable levels.

THANKS AGAIN!!!started putting everything back together waiting on one hose from Marc H, this is such a blast to work on (JOKING) once again thanks for the help with all this.
