Yep. As I said, for a '90 that someone bought new and drove straight into a warehouse as an investment, $32K is a realistic figure today.
I bought mine with 15,500 miles and spent $20K on it making it perfect. When I sold it, it had the same miles as yours and it was, in fact, virtually perfect. I started at $28K...no interest. I dropped to $25K...no interest. Got tired of waiting and traded it in, took $20K. Investing so heavily and losing my shirt wasn't smart, but I did learn firsthand what they're worth. I would LOVE to see you get $32K for your car, but the market says it's worth $20K, because the supply of ZR-1s currently exceeds the demand for ZR-1s by a pretty wide margin. The only way the values are ever going to rise is if the number of people who want to buy them starts to vastly exceed the number of people who are willing to part with them. I'm sorry that that's the truth. |
