I bought the "testor's" hobby model pens. They came in a three pack. I shaved down the tip of the pen a little to fit. I just re-did mine in all black and they look preety good...they haven't run either on a hot engine luckily. I also used a little bit of laquer thinner on a "tShirt" and went arount the endges ofthe letters to clean them up. It is important to use a "tShirt" material because a towel or rag will get down into the lettering. Good luck!

Thanks, Keith. Oh, how I wish I could attend. My Z has never even been out of the state since it was new. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend this year. My nephew is getting married that weekend and I will be attending the wedding. Same story last year, except it was me that was getting married. Couldn't seem to convince the wife that BG would be a great honeymoon spot. Oh well, maybe next year.

I've been fortunate so far ... no problems with the Z. So, I've just kind of been keeping my ears open for someone that works on these things when they break. Hopefully, I can handle some of it myself. But, like you, I'd sure like to have a ZR1 mechanic on stand by. Maybe Charlie or one of the other long time ZR1ers could chime in with better info.
