Re: Looking for Georgia mechanic

Having owned Corvettes for over 30 years, I can say I have found in the last 5 the ZR-1 community is by far the strongest it’s as if we are here to support the beast.

Just sending David a PM on the PSP site

Corvette95  =D> you guys were the men that day!

Roger, I'm the one that rambles!

Just one more ramble......and this is also the truth I've learned!

You own a ZR-1, you already know these people because this is a brotherhood.....it's truly not the car, rather it truly is the people.

Oh, bye the way, welcome to the Brotherhood!:handshak:

any ideas on selling them? I'll take one. Although, as I recall there was a conversation between you Techs that some other techs had worked on Dave's car and made some mistakes resulting in the idle condition.

Is that idle condition a result of mistakes by people who don't normally work on LT5's or it can happen to any of us?

I would give them at cost to anyone that wants one, the idle was just a setting, not really due to anything, other than when the plenum was off it didnt get adjusted correctly. no big deal

To tell ya the truth I know that these guys here from your neighborhood were typing with one hand while reaching for their tools with the other. The down side is that ya gotta feed & water them and your hands will need some go-jo......but the upside is that you will have learned about your car first hand.....and that's better than letting some one else learn on your car.

Well said Tom.

Welcome to the BOB Roger, you won't find a more knowlegable and dedicated group of ZR-1 (or any vette for that matter) guys anywhere as you will on this forum.

Roger,

No worries...welcome the fellow ZR-1ers with open arms and open hood! It's the best way to git er done! You supply the snacks and beverages and they'll provide the lessons...it's just one big happy family. There's plenty to learn and it really isn't that tough. This is what the Brotherhood of the Beast is all about.

Let us know when and how much as soon as they are ready! Seems like a big tuning help as troublshooters work their magic.
