The shipping was going to be $250 to Hawaii at the time. Prefer to have a real lift but the low garage ceiling does not allow so this would be perfect. I'll wait to see where my final destination is after my retirement later this year.

I know what you are talking about. My Z is sitting on jack stands (front) with front tires off and rear tires up on blocks at the moment which is not all that easy to do. I do not have overhead space to really take advantage stacking two cars on a four post hydraulic lift. I do have enough overhead to raise the hood while the Z is a bit over 20 inches off the deck.

Yeah, I'm tired of struggling on my back and even with my low profile bone creeper it really sucks with the amount of work I do under the Z.

That is why I am getting that head creeper also. I can do all sorts of things under the Z on jack stands and rear tires on blocks but it is just a mess with the jack stands, blocks, tools and parts in the way every time I try to roll over with a socket wrench

The stands on KwikLift are further to front and rear and I figure the wheel rails (Kwiklift) will be nice to put tools and parts on off the floor

Stuart (Kwiklift) called me back and it is a done deal

I bought a KwikLift first, before the 4 post. KwikLift was really great. Safe & easy to use, just the right height. I sold it to my neighbor & he loves it too.

The Kwiklift would be great. I NEVER like being under a car on jackstands. Gives me the willies....

If you are going to drop that kinda cash might as well get the 4 post.

I need to buy a 4 post lift to make room for a ZR1.

If the 4 post won't fit then the Kwik Lift is the answer. I have always wanted a 4 post but garage ceiling height won't allow it so I ordered the Kwik Lift a couple of years ago. It has nothing to do with cash....

True, but the fact is they ARE 1/2 the price of a 4 or 2 post....

I got about the same deal you got since I mentioned that to Stuart at Kwiklift :handshak:
My KwikLift will arrive next week with two center lift bridges

I will have to push my Z onto Kwiklift since it is now on jack stands (front) and tires on wood blocks (rear). I will put wheels back on front and push the Z forward up the ramp and then use the center bridges to remove the front wheels one more time for C5 Z06 brake installation.

I have SW headers/exhaust (I will have to make up some nifty aluminum hangers), C4 Beam plates from ZF Doc and other stuff to install underneath ;)

This will be a lot of fun with the KwikLift ramps and the new creeper with adjustable head rest. I may just sleep under the Z for a while :sleepy1:
