I've been known to wash parts in the dishwasher myself. Melts the cosmolene right out of surplus rifle parts too.

Funny I did not know anyone else knew what that was....when I was in high school my job was to remove the cosmolene from newly shipped Hondas. |

I'm wondering if they intend to stabilize the sides when the remove all that dirt. Looks dangerous. Here's hoping all goes well.
