I wonder what is left of the hood with all the signatures. could it be pieced back together if only to display along with the restored car someday!!!

They found a couple pieces of the hood today - and I mean PIECES...

Appears they are really trying to be careful to find and collect what they can. Pics of the hood pieces are on the NCM website...

Yeah that one is REALLY :censored: ed...
I think they need to forget trying to fix that one and use it for the permanent "sinkhole" exhibit...

And they need to leave all that red dirt patina in place too.
I'm told patina ads value. Never met the guy so don't know.;)
