I would suggest you also replace the timing chain while you are this far into the project.

Yes....that already has been addressed....lol new timing chain and gears in the box.....just waiting to be installed.....:)

I had a 68 427 that was rebuilt. The car was a badass with Hooker side pipes!

Decided to go with a tri-power setup on the 454....should be interesting to say the least.....check out the BB Page for more info......

Finally pulled the "215" heads out of their shipping boxes from 2009....time to get the valve spring pressure checked to make sure I am within specs for the roller cam setup.....wish I had the tools to check that myself.....but need to find a good machine shop to do the work......
