TB Cover

3 Attachment(s)
I got my TB covers from Carter the other day and had to post a couple of pics. I got one 1 in black and 1 in silver. Hopefully I will have pics of the silver one on the blue car in the Spring, it is my winter project. The engine is a little dirty but I wanted to post the pictures anyway.

Carter does a great job!!!! I am sure I will get many more things from hime in the future.

The last photo is the car in the garage. The picture didn't come out too well.

Thanks. I like the look of the black against the red but then I like the red engines with the red cars too.

It's nice to be able to choose whether to take off on the bike or romp around in the Z.

Cool car!

Was that ZR-1 on eBay? SGC motor, 460rwhp? Looks familiar and very nice!

Beautiful ZR-1 Roger. Is the blue ZR-1 a daily driver?

Yes it was. Aaron did some nice work on it. It doesn't have 460 though, I wish, it only has 438rwhp.

I've enjoyed it a lot especially since I have retired the steel blue car for a while.

Roger,
Thanks for the kind words. After seeing your pics I see why you wanted to go black with red engraving. Very nice looking! When you are ready for more bling give me a holler :dancing

PS: I have a 78' Superglide in my stable that I bought off the show room floor brand new.

Thanks again, Carter

I wish I could use it as a DD. It has about 97,000 and was in pretty good condition but I have decided to try and get it in great shape. I am in the process of redoing the interior, then I want to paint or pc the engine, and then remove the ground effects kit and paint it. In other words sink a lot of money into a BLACK HOLE! I must be a little touched in the head.

I have been buying a lot of different parts and pieces for both cars. It is sad to say but I have gotten use to being somewhat disapointed when the parts finally get to me. I say this because when I opend the box that had my TB covers in it I was extremely happy with the quality of the looks and then the perfect fit when I installed the black one. I am sure I will be in contact with you for future Bling. Thanks.

I like the red Roger but the blue has always been one of my favorites. So much so that I recently bought a blue Corvette. As far as being nuts, if you are you've got plenty of company.

Sure would like to see some pictures of the blue car when you get some time...

1977 was what I checked out and when I saw the 1978 (silver with red lettering) I was hooked. I gave the dealer (Jone's HD in Little Rock, Arkansas) 32 $100 bills and drove it away. I have never looked back. :dancing

It is now Brandy wine and has way to many CT Machining custom parts to mention. Won all sorts of World of Heels awards then just quit going.

Here are a couple. The ground effects kit is on the chopping block for next year. It's funny to see the cars beside each other because they don't look like the same model. I like the looks of the car with the kit on it but I want to put it back to original.

When I get my injector housing coolant manifolds back I will have Carter BLING them also.

I was hoping Carter would LIST ALL the BLING he has done for the LT5 (with a picture) or just send me in an e-mail a list (with pictures if possible). I would figure out a way to post the Carter Bling without it appearing Carter is advertising.

It will merely appear as an impressed forum member :sign10:

If Carter does not send me a list, I may locate all the Carter Bling posts I can and list in Solutions under the Heading BLING
http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread....9454&post89454

If Carter does not mind :)

Anyone finding a post with a picture of Carter Bling, PM me
If Carter does not mind :D

I have a bunch of Carter creations! Very satisfied customer :Eagle:

No sweat old Pics. Before Samcos and stainless oilcooler lines and Billet oil cap and Rad cap. You started the bling movement with that lead on the LT1 cap/LT5 cap

Guys,
I am very appreciative of your support of CT Machining. There should be many pics of my items. I'll try to get some pics to you of the items but I'm a bit busy right now machining goodies.
You could ask Russell for a pic of his fender emblems, Craig has them, too, but without HP ratings on them.
There are many wheels with my center caps on them. GC has them along with most all owners of custom wheels here.
I appreciate the exposure as I do most of my advertising by word of mouth from you who have ordered custom items from me. Thanks for the kind words, too, as that makes it all worth while to me.
