*Vette's on the Rockies...anyone?*
 

Has, or is anybody on this forum been to or are planning on attending the 2006 Vette's on the Rockies show? I think it's in Frisco, Co.:icon_scra but I'm not sure.......it looks like a lot of fun!!!:)


I live in Colorado and I have never attended..........:o.........I'm not even sure when it is???

Let me know when your comin up to Denver....Rod and I are very close to I-70 that you'll be drivin in on!:hello:

I also plan on going as well, so if you need a place to rest or to wash and clean up your Z before you hit the mountains.....you and your wife are very welcome?:cheers:

Sorry, I've been busy and not able to get to the comp. Thanks for the offer, we'll be flying through there on Wednesday fast on the road from the flatlands. Yeah you have the dates right, I registered and I'm #245 and this is only May!! This will be the first long run I've had with the ZR since the drive bringing it home and I'm both excited about the trip and apprehensive since I don't think I know the car that well yet. I'm looking forward to seeing you and other ZR's there, we just don't get to see that many once you get outside Texas...

Hey guys - I will be there. Me and my dad will probably be driving both of our vettes there. He will be in a '91 ZR1 and I will be there in a '80. Hopefully we can meet up with you guys.

I'm probably going to be caravaning up with the Razorback club from Arkansas and really looking forward to seeing everyone there. The more I learn about VOR, the more I'm looking forward to getting there and maybe meeting up with some new good friends!! Seems that everyone posting in this string is connected to a 91... good year if you ask me!! :cheers:

Cool guys, I think i'm following the bowtyguy and his pop up the mountains in there Zr1........his dad is coming from Indiana or Iowa???somewhere from back east???

1991 was a great year for me in a few ways........graduated from highschool that year and saw my first Zr1 at the old Chesrone chevy Corvette center (dealershipwas bought out by the John Elway mofia)

Under two weeks left until the show....I'm going to Sundays event...see ya guys there!

Is your car going to be in the show?? My dad and I are going up on Sunday and are looking for some people to cruise up with. Are cars aren't going to be in the show so we will leaving a little later in the morning.

I'm going to try an purchase a spot when I get up there from LGCA, the lady told me today that there is 30+ spots left for Sundays show-n-shine, so I guess first come first serve.

Keep an eye out for a Quasar blue Zr1 sitting broke down on the side of the road and a crazy little Itilian chick hitting me with her purse.:dancing good times mang!!!

Zr1 Destroyer - I think I saw your car sitting on one of the side roads at the show today. I didn't see anyone near it so I didn't get to say Hello. I hope you had as much fun as my Dad and I did.

Sorry i missed ya, that was a cool first VOTR for me and i bought the 2006 VOTR license plate that was offered for the first time at this show....sweeeet!

I saw a couple of familiar faces from BG, that was pretty cool to see some of those guys coming to the cow town(there name for Co.) for a Vette show.

P.S.....WtF is with the non stop traffic jam on the way back....my Zr1 almost over heated a few times, next year will be a Friday or Sat. for me only!!!

I missed the traffic on I70 coming back, my dad and I cruised back with some other Vettes from Corvetteforums.com on 285. Its been awhile since I've been to a VOTR, I can't wait until next year.

I will be there next year. Plumbing issues at my 80+ year old house slowed me down. :mad:

I probably didn't have as much fun as you guys did.
