More sad news - Bob Anderson
 

Heard from a friend today that Bob Anderson (bobbyhi) passed away a couple of days ago. We lived on opposite sides of the Twin Cities metro area so I only saw him a couple of times a year at car gatherings. I do know that he sure loved his "Z" and going fast was the only way to go...!!!

I'm so sorry and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He was such a nice man and never heard a negative word spoke of him. This is horrible :(

I met Bob a couple of times. He was incredibly supporting and encouraging when I was looking for my Z and played a major part in me getting the car I have now. After buying my car my first trip was a weekend trip to see him. We had a blast, he took me and my wife on the Mississipi on his boat, introduced us to his local club and showed the kind of hospitality that makes this community legendary.

Bob was always there with a kind word and a smile. He loved his ZR-1 passionately and always made time for everyone in the community. Our thoughts go out to Emma and his family at this time. What a terrible loss for all of us.

So sad to hear of this Bob being only 66 years young.

He was always one to have an nice uplifting comment to say on the forum over the last 7 years.

His final post here was #999 on Feb 5th.
