WMD and Carroll County Cruise - Saturday 10 November
 

Everyone is invited to a Westminster Mainrtenance Day on Saturday, November 10th. We will start work at about 9:00 AM.

Location: the garage behind my house at 195 W Main St, Westminster, MD 21157

After some maintenance, we will go for an Ice Cream Cruise. Departure time is 2:30 from my garage. The cruise will be through northern Carroll County and we willl stop at Baughers for ice cream.

Come when you can, and if you want to just join us for the cruise that is OK.

If you have any maintenance you want to do, let me know so we can make a schedule.

I'll be there and bring doughnuts and coffee! Time permitting, I'd love to change my oil and re-torque/tight exhaust clamps.

I'll also mount and bring my Hero HD camera for video of our ZR1 cruise to share online.

My front speakers are starting to make a funny sound. First thought it was a leaf stuck in the blower but it is the speaker. If you come on Saturday can you bring amps if you still have them?

I should be coming down in the morning, but I have to be back home by 4:30, which means leaving by 2:30-3. Does anyone have a scanner? I would like to see if any codes came up since I did my injector change (probably have a low vacuum code). What should I bring? I have alot of tools and can lend a hand.:cheers:

Great that you will be able to come down. I have a scanner, and we can check your codes. You don't need to bring any tools. If you want to bring some sodas, water or beer that would be great.

Hello Jim,
I will be there sat morning, not able to do the cruise. I just got my wife out of the hospital today, and will have to back home around noon to watch her when my daughter leaves to go home.
I would like to have my serpentine belt installed if we have time.

Water, sodas, Snapple ice tea is popular at WAZOO gatherings, adult beverages, I like Bud Light.

Your choice, we are not a picky bunch.

I have completed the course selection for the Ice Cream Cruise.

Here is the set up. Baughers Restaurant is 1/4 mile from my garage, just over the hill. We will, however, take a 39 mile cruise through the Carroll County country side to get to Baughers.

We will drive on Impounding Dam Road. I don't know why it is called that, but I like the name, and it is a fun area of southern Pennsylvania.

The cruise will take about an hour and a half. We will depart at 2:30 (approximately, but not ealier). We will not be racing. Safety and fun are the goals of this cruise. But, the course offers a lot of opportunity for spirited driving.

For those that asked, we will visit Frizzlesburg again.

I have found a nice place for a group photo next to a lake, so bring your camera.

Bert said he is going to record video of the cruise so make sure you are in front of Bert if you like to see your ZR-1 in action.

Even if you can't make the maintenance portion of the day, I hope you will join us for the Ice Cream Cruise. Get your chores done early and come out for a nice afternoon cruise.

I'll be there sometime tomorrow morning, hopefully with my grandson Andy in tow (waiting to hear whether he can find someone to take is work shift). Let me know if I can bring anything. Chips, beer, soda?

Outstanding day and great to see all my WAZOO brothers and to meet some new ones as well. Got the Hurst short shifter and new lumbar seat pump installed and then on a great ride through the countryside. Glad the local police going the other way was in a good mood or else he would have had all of us!!

This was my grandson, Andy's first WAZOO WMD. We had a wonderful time enjoying great cars, great fellowship, great food. It was nice meeting several 'newer' WAZOOers.
