Registry Store Product - Board of Directors
 

Hello all you fine folks on the board,

I am curious if you have had any more talks or thoughts between yourselves of putting some ZR-1 items in the registry store? I believe it was brought up about the Samco hoses (which I would have already purchased if they were there) and those would be real nice to be able to get without waiting a long time.

My two cents (FWIW) is there could/should be much more available items than present. Coffee cups, key rings, pen or pen/pencil sets, t-shirts, caps and so on would be some items. I am talking about items that are ZR-1 in nature, not just Net Registry items. There are some banners that might be available at a reasonable price also.

Hope you all will consider moving forward with this.

I agree with both of you guys about having all those things available to us in the store. However, it really isn't too realistic due to the fact that the job of securing and selling the product doesn't pay very well:) .. There would have to someone who would volunteer their time to do this and I don't think there would be many "takers". It would require many hours and a considerable effort to pull this off. Maybe I'm wrong but it has been my experience with other clubs that there is a handful of people that do all the work all the time. Not that we don't have people here that won't do the work but just don't have the time.

I was president of a volunteer racing association in Winnemucca, Nevada for 5 years, so I know what you are talking about.

I will post up when I get the stuff in stock. We will put the stuff in the Net Registry store for MEMBERS ONLY. If you're not a member...:nono: you know the rest. Membership has it's benefits!:thumbs: :cheers: The plan is to stock a limited number of the popluar colors and if you need a different color you will be able to order it but that will take longer to get since we won't have them in stock.

great job uly. I need to get off my dead @$$ and install those hoses before the gathering. need the hose clamps to go with them!!
