Agree if you are selling. Nittos also a possibility--check with Robert Demarco.--Bob

originally i thought that was a good plan. however, when i've shown the car i can almost see the wheels going 'round about how much cheaper the price should be because it needs new tires. also, there's a little concern fm folks out of town who might want to drive it home. who knows? :drunken_s

I agree with the goodyears, only Y rated tire in correct size, but if selling car then they are pricey, I just got a few months ago out the door, taxes, disposal, mount, stems, road force balance, $606 for 2 rears, and felt that was a great price

Nitto 555G2 are the best bang for the buck.

Sumitimo are all season tires and will put you in the weeds. Tread pattern is not directional from one side to the other. The Goodyears are the best for summer driving or hot climates. They will put you in the weeds in cold weather, but are the best performance in wet and dry high speed driving.

I put Michelin Super Sports on my 2010 ZR1 and I've had them on other Sport/Muscle cars with great success. Expensive but great traction, quite and good feel in the corners.

Nitto NT555g2

Good dry traction and you can drive sanely in the rain. Put something decent on the car for a reasonable cost, the new owner will appreciate it. Sumitomos are garbagio, stock car, dry roads, they break traction on the 1-2 shift.

Michelin Pilots are the best in my opinion. They were on our 1995 Z when we bought it and we have just replaced the back tires. Drove through some torrential rain during drive home from BG this year and car behaved like it was on rails. Amazing tire. If you check Dredgeguys post on Michelin Pilots they are available at Costco in the U.S.

Not on OEM wheels, though.

I went with Nittos on both our ZR1s. They are a really nice tire. You would need to be a hard hard driver to find any fault with them. They are reasonably priced as well.

I love the BFG Rival S on my 18" CCWs too. I wish they would make them in 17" stock sizes. I just sold my original A molds with Nitto NT555 Gen I and will need tires for the NOS set of A molds I have. I wish there were more choices.
