Yep, even though I'm an old guy, I'm a newbie.

I've owned several Corvettes in the past. Just picked up a 1995 ZR1.

I recently sold my 01 Coupe.

I have to say, I enjoy my ZR1 much more than I ever enjoyed my C5.

Now if I could just find the missing side hood emblems..............

Also, congrats on your KOTH.

They are readily availablke in the different colors you need. Just look in an Ecklers or Mid America catalog.

Do you know why yours are missing?

I spoke with Mid America on Friday. They said they didn't have the color combo.

Ecklers website didn't show that combo, but I haven't called them yet.

Almost everyone has gray background with black letters.

I do not have either a MAD or Ecklers catalog.

If you wouldn't mind and can get me an actual part number, I'd buy you a beer or soda............someday. :-D

What color is your ZR-1?

It's black with tan interior. I'm told 9 were made like that. The back emblem has black background with gray letters, so I want the hood ones, which are missing, to match.

Here is the order number, but it is not color specific. They claim to have them in every original color, so just call them with this part number and specify your color.

Also I just got a catalog from Corvette Central and they have ZR-1 emblems with what looks like all the colors plus blank ones you can paint yourself. Their number is 800-345-4122 or corvettecentral.com.

He did say the color combo I need is rare.

I can offer you "LT5" emblems that are black with Silver Letters from the ZR-1 Net store.

and click on LT5 Emblems. It doesn't show the black/sliver one but gives you and idea.

I would like two silver/black if possible. I want to change out the LT-5 emblems, People not in the know always ask is it a ZR-1 or an LT-5 Model Corvette :roll:

It seems everyone stocks the ZR1 emblem with silver/gray background and black letters. The reverse seems impossible to find.

Joe doesn't have it either.
