hi , well i just bought a 90 black with red guts car has 137k it has headers borla exhaust 410 gears ported inj housing and plenum new clutch. the paint is perfect but will need to replace the interior. i bought the car of one of my sisters girl friends who was selling it for her brother who took a job in u.a.e.. I PAID 16K for her . car runs awsome. what should i look out for ? car even came with a set of drag radials.how many miles could i get out of her before i need to worry about a rebuild? thanx for any help

yes new guts first . ? where can i get new seat covers that have the corvette embroyderd in them like the factory. seems everywhere i look its not there . would the later carpet94-96 be better not worried about being totally correct . also can ojne upgrade to the 94 and up seats by ordering the foam and covers ? i am a little large and these seats are for small . also has any body used sound deadener dyna mat etc what best . thanx for any help:hello:

Don't know if this applies to the 90s, but ... I have 2 91s: a ZR-1 with black sport seats (naturally) that have CORVETTE in white just below the headrest,
and an L98 with the standard seats with no lettering. So I don't know if the
CORVETTE lettering goes with the ZR-1 or with the sport seats. Does anyone have a 90 or 91 L98 with sport seats to check?

the car had the mods i wanted and brand new 10k paint. did a leakdown test and got .04% in the worst cylinder. car has gone 11.91 @117.82 according to the timeslip that came with the car .it is my daily driver . these cars are a blast

Welcome to you, you will find many useful information and many helpful members hang out here.

The consensus is that the LT5 will easily last 200,000 street driven miles, however, I have not seen too many threads saying: I hit 200K miles and had to rebuild my motor. Only time will tell how durable the LT5 really is.

The willingness to help others and the camaraderie will separate this forum from any other. :cheers:

WTFi dont know what you are saying. you must have me confused with another brad? where does he live ? i live @879 pinewood dr in sanjose just off the 280 @saratoga and moorpark . i own stonelight tile and fireclay tile with my cousin david chichester. I just bought this car 4 days ago .
