My ZR-1

I've been trying to get into the 21st century...so I finally bought a digital camera last yr and I'm still trying to figure all this stuff out...

Here are some picts I took of my 90, #2233.....I know this sounds corny, but This car can cure any bad day for me!

Okay, so I really don't know how to use the software! Use the link, that's to the album....Bob, if I had realized I could change the size of the uploaded picts........well, live & learn! They should be a bit larger now.

All I have to do is learn the software!

Tom

obviously I still don't get how to do this...sorry. Let's try this.

Re: My ZR-1

First......thanks for the compliments guys! Ya know we are all proud of our Z's, and I guess I'm no different.....the only thing is people look at me funny because I'm always lookin' like this  before, during & after I drive her! She was real sweet back in 12/16/04 when she came off of the truck. Only had 7400 miles......after today I expect I'll have 30,000 on her, but to me she'll never really be "just a driver"....even though the clock says so...this must be what crack is like, once I started driving her...I just can't seem to stop wanting to drive her!

Thanks to Bob & Ccmano for doing something I can't quite figure out how to do......yet!....but I'll get it eventually.:o :sign10:

Tom

Hey Tom, from your photobucket page, just select the part that says "IMG code" and then paste it into your post.

It will look like this:

HTML Code:

[IMG]http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc123/tomZR1/ZR-1-1.jpg[/IMG]
The forum software will turn it into this:

:o It's my EZPass road toll electronic thingy! It's the only way to travel in the NYC/Metro area, otherwise ya better bring lunch while ya wait at the toll booths. they have dedicated ezpass lanes so it is worth it just for that! I hate b to b traffic!

Hey just saw a pict of your baby in the new thread.......she sure looks sweet, even up on the lift waiting for parts!! I love those big exh tips.....kind of reminds me of the tips on the early steel bumper sharks.

Doing great Tom, thanx for asking!:D

Being a parent is a trip, and I wouldn't trade it for anything....having said that, the search will have to begin for a replacement for Blue one of these days. I'm starting to get restless with Spring here and am starting to look at Harleys again...somebody hurry up and talk me out of that.:jawdrop:

Ok,

If you're looking at bike you ought to look at the Victorys! Or at least give the KT 1200 a look. ;) ;)

Congrats on being parents, it really has its rewards. Harley prices are in the crapper just like the ZR-1 prices. Harleys are there because they are making so many. Good used bikes are all over. Now's the time to buy both.

Re: My ZR-1

Hey guys, thanx for the congrats and advice...sorry for the hijack Tom.:o

I'll probably end up just sitting this year out, but John is right about it being a good time to buy both right now. There are some good deals out there that I'm half tempted to get a loan for until I get that tax relief next April and get it done (both Z's and Harleys)....we'll see.

Thanks Jeff for the kudos on my ride......it still smells new, too! No smokey inside the car...ever!
