Re: parting 90 ZR-1
Wheels? I just found out the left side (front and rear) are bent. Explains the vibration that the previous tire shop couldn't balance out.

Re: parting 90 ZR-1
I'm after the pair of front uprights, the front ABS sensors, and as much wiring as possible (ie need both sides of both connectors). I need to "backdate" my 91 (sensor in the hub) so I can consume less expensive hubs. I don't care about ball joints or hubs, they're probably not worth the weight to ship them.
Had one hub last two, count em two, autocross runs. The grip on the Hoosiers is great but waaay past what the available replacement hubs can take. Moving to the earlier hubs will help the mod budget quite a bit I hope. I'm told the sensors will communicate, they're just re-packaged (crossing fingers). Come to think of it, how're the front brakes? I just ground down my RF caliper when it (get this) jumped over the pin. Luckily the CCW has harder aluminum than the PBR. Probably sensible for me to look for calipers, caliper brackets, and wedges. Best, - Jeff |
