I just couldn't say No

Last March I was at the Portland OR. swap meet and there was a 1990 LT5 motor there. Well like every body else who knows what an LT5 is, I low-balled him and left him my number. Monday, the guy called me and asked if I still wanted the motor and I just couldn't say no... here are some pic of my new LT5.

I have no idea what I'm going to do with it yet. I sent my wife an email with a picture of the LT5 coffee table and she said "Hell No" - she's putting her foot down on that idea. So, I guess I'm going to get to learn how to build a 368.

Thanks to Eric Jackson for helping me decypher the the VIN number to check that its is not stolen.

Great eye candy for a garage or shop, got a few in my garage and gives me a nice feel good everytime I go in the garage.

Nice find Eric, be a good one to build up while still being able to drive your car.

Great find Eric. I see it didn't take you long to get your anniversary poster up. Mine's still rolled up with the other one.

Sweet. Just got your email from last night. Sorry for not getting you the thing you asked for. Will get that to you today. Great job. Eric

Hi Eric,

Nice find.

Wow, I see you aren't one to let grass grow under your feet! Like Hammer said, but I see that you not only have the anniversary poster framed, but also the "Lightning and Thunder" poster too. Good job!

My dad and I enjoyed visiting with you at the Gathering. You'll have to send me some pics of the "Black Beast" in the background - I'd love to see some.

Take care.

Jeff

That is the proper way to pull an engine out of a pickup bed. That is a load tested 1/2 ton chain fall.:-D Its true rigging is what i do for a living.

Didn't know the plenum could handle the weight.
Now I know.
