Pacific Northwest ZR-1
Just curious if anyone knows anything about this shop: http://www.pnwzr1.com/
I found it tonight while looking for another site and thought I'd see if anyone has been there before. Thanks! Scott |

I believe this is Jeff Flint's operation.

Thanks Scott... I've had one member tell me that he took a stroker (LT5) there and recommended them. If you are really close to the shop, you might want to stop by and check it out. Could be a good local resource (would be a 3-4 hour drive for me). If you do check it out, please PM me your impression. I do have a few things that I want to get done (fluids, SW headers, exhaust, 4.10s and a good overall inspection). I either need to get the work done within the next couple of months or hold off until I get transfered to the MD-Wash DC area at the end of the year.

I would wait until you move and lookup the WAZOO guys. They can do all of your list as part of their maintenance days. |

I do all of my own work except change tires and alignments if I want all four wheels done. It's a hobby as well as something fast to drive. |
Re: Pacific Northwest ZR-1
I usually do the light to med stuff myself, but I haven't been around much since moving here in June and really don't want to try to tackle things without a lift and a second set of hands (preferably someone who has done it before). Even simple flush and fills need a second set of hands or feet in most cases, and I'm sure that there are a few tricks that will make things easier.
The right answer for me is probably to wait until I get to DC and join up with the gang out there. I noticed that they do seem to get together fairly regularly for group maintenance - which is perfect for someone like me who wants to learn and help. Thanks again for all the info and advice!
