Air conditioning
 

95 ZR-1, I've had the car about a year and eight months. The air conditioning will not blow cold out of the top vents.

If I put the control to just the top vent it blows ambient air not cold.

If I put the control to recirculate it blows cold but it comes out of the top, bottom and defroster.

How do I get it to blow air conditioning just out of the top vents, or is something malfunctioning?

Planning to make the trip to BG in a few weeks for the bash and would like to get this fixed before then. I tried the search but no luck. :icon_scra... Thanks.

I had the same problem, and so did 2 of my friends. The problem was a series of vacuum / electric switches on a board above the steering column. Had a hard time finding one and cost of fix was around $1000. As I remember it was very hard to get to.
