Full power light
Has anyone experienced the full power switch malfunctioning even though the full power light is on. If so how did you resolve it.

Not enough info. How is it you think the switch is malfunctioning? What symptom(s). What year? |
Re: Full power light
well the engine feels and sounds the same weather it's on or off and I believe the rpm's top are topping out under 7,000 so I think its not going in to full power. yr 1990

Re: Full power light
I had a similar problem.... stuck in a traffic jam for over an hour and a half in 108 degree head... power key was on, but no secondaries. I replaced the fuel pumps before I realized that the main vacuum line from the pump had collapsed into itself and sealed. Pull the line from the connector by the passenger water housing and check to ensure the pump runs.

Re: Full power light
This happened to me when I was having fun with a new Challenger. I was amazed that he was staying next to the Ruby until I hit around 6000 rpm and the engine was starving. Next go around I had the power key on, it was an entirely different story.
