FBI -- ZR1 get together
 

Hi guys,

Thought I would invite the Chicago area ZR1 crowd down to Blue Star Bistro Saturday night July 26th since most of the road construction downtown in the loop is finally finished.... Sorry I missed everyone at the last pizza night at Home Run Inn. I've been out of town a lot. Let's say 7:30pm Saturday the 26th. If the weather is good, we can use the Church parking lot kitty corner to Blue Star Bistro to park the Zs and have a mini-car show before dinner. First round of drinks is on me. Just RSVP so I have an idea of how many seats to hold for the group. Other guests are welcome, of course. Blue Star is 1209 N Noble St in Chicago for those of you who haven't been there before. 1 block west of the I-94 Division St exit.

Sounds like fun, but will be out of town: (Des Moines) Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI). So, I'll be pedling my *** off!!

Hi Kevin--Dede and I might be able to do the 26th. If so, we would probably plan to meet our two kids and their respective spouses there, as they all live downtown only a few blocks away. If weather is good, maybe meet there an hour or so earlier than dinner time? Is the church lot available for parking to anyone or do you have to arrange it ahead of time with them for our group? -- Bob

Hi Kevin--
Anything new on this? Still planning on Sat nite 7/26 at the Blue Star Bistro? If so, as I mentioned Dede and I can come and will also have our daughter and her husband with us if that is OK. Did you line up the church parking for a little show/reserved parking? If yes to all that, when to arrive? 6:00 or 6:30 or closer to 7:30 target reservation? How many plan to come? -Bob

Hi Bob,

Yes - we are on.....Church lot is all good for the Corvettes. No need to come before 7:30pm. You can if you want to, but the group and I are planning on 7:30. Look forward to seeing everyone!
