First $100k $tag I've seen...

Never titled, 33 miles. Hmmm...

Torn plastic; not a big deal, but a 'deal' none-the-less for 6 figures.

Stained floormat? Well, if it was a leaf, ... ditto...

Never seen one with that pricetag.

But you never know though, a 100 large is nothing to the small percent with most of the wealth. You will never get what you never ask for. Impulse buy for them, silly buy for us working class.

Not the only one in that condition out there. I have seen others that havent been PDI'd yet.

"Never been driven? " Someone drove it 33 miles, and they wouldnt have been "gentle" miles either.

Cars like this need to be drained of all fluids and stored in a Nitrogen environment. They will never be driven. Like a wild animal kept in a cage.

didnt a 25 miler sell at mecum auction without dealer prep for 35k?? it was white and I saw it in person. Never dealer prepped white with red interior sold for about 35k. It was from the Roger Judski collection. He also owns the one and only 1969 ZL1 yellow Corvette. 100k seems like this guy is dreaming. The car is impeccable. What I look at is the leather grain on the steering wheel and shifter knob. this car is brand new.

Absolutely correct this tells the story.

It's easy to forget they still haven't became classic's just yet. The sky is the limit for such cars in years to come. At 37 I hope to still be around to see them skyrocket!

I think there's a White ZL1 survivor somewhere, although IT probably can't be had for <30 x $100k...

They're nuts. Unfortunately for them, if you sort by price on eBay, directly below this is another red '90 with only 127 miles and the dealer is only asking $47,995. Yeah, it was never titled, which is cool. But $100K? Give me a break.

Actually, the second zl1 is orange. I read about its unveiling a couple of years ago. It does have documentation saying it is a zl1. The white car, which I have seen on a few occasions has been around since the mid 80's where I saw it in the 1987 bloomington gold show. this corvette was restored by d&m corvette. It does have a zl1 engine and a very nice white with black stripe paint job but it has no documentation. The yellow zl1 had the factory black stripe around the front fenders and was ordered for a chevy engineer who eventually did not purchase it. It went to a dealer in Virginia and sat on a lot for a long white. somebody paid a huge price for it and took it home only to remove the engine and put it in a race boat. The car was rediscovered by wayne walker of zip products and eventually did manage to purchase the engine from the boat owner. that car at one time was in miami when craig priest of the vette smith purchased it and had it in his showroom floor. the car was then confiscated by dea and auctioned off to roger judski who paid around 200k for it. It is worth way over a million now. One of my very favorite corvettes of all time. sorry to hijack the thread just wanted to set the story right.
